PreRegistration Information

PreRegistration is a web-based process designed to give undergraduate faculty an idea of student interest in the courses scheduled to be offered. It is required for all students for fall term (either in May prior to WebRegistration for returning students or in August for new students) and for winter term (in October prior to WebRegistration). PreRegistration for spring term is currently planned for the week following Thanksgiving break, in December. Failure to participate in PreRegistration will cost students dearly in their priority for WebRegistration for the next three terms. The results of PreRegistration have nothing to do with the actual courses for which a student may be qualified or will be eventually enrolled.

PreRegistration Resources

PreRegistration passwords: You get your PreReg password by going to the PreReg starting page, finding your login name, and clicking the link to send a password to your W&L e-mail address. Remember, when logging in to receive your password, that you have separate passwords for e-mail and network access (initial login, WebAdvisor, Sakai, etc.). If you don't remember your network password for PreReg, reset it at https://mcsapp1.wlu.edu/wlupassword/. The PreReg login must be in lowercase, password is case sensitive as you set it. We recommend that you set your network password to match your e-mail password.
