§  Veteran's benefits information

The University Registrar is the campus liaison with the Veterans' Administration and the Designated Officer for signing official VA forms related to eligibility and certification of enrollment for benefits. Our forms are sent to the regional office in Buffalo NY. The address for sending all forms is

Veterans Administration Regional Processing Office
Education Hard Copy
P.O.Box 21
Buffalo NY 24240-0021

When you have a question, first call 1.800.827.1000 which will get you the closest VA office (from Lexington, this rings into the Roanoke office). Representatives there have access to the VA database and can answer questions about your individual benefits, certifications, and checks. You may also try the VA's WAVE web site for answers.

If you can't get an answer from the VA, please call or e-mail Scott Dittman, University Registrar, and describe the problem.

By federal law, the contents of the file kept about your benefits during your W&L enrollment is kept permanently with your academic record.
